Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Veritads and all related services ("Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform in any way, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Who We Are

Veritads is a performance-based advertising platform that connects advertisers with content creators ("Clippers") who post short-form videos on social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X. Advertisers pay per 1,000 verified views (CPM model). Clippers earn by posting content and accumulating real views.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. Accounts created on behalf of a company or organisation must be authorised by that entity.

3. Account Registration and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person. You must notify us immediately at support@veritads.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Clipper Obligations

If you use the Platform as a Clipper, you agree to:

• Only submit videos posted on social media accounts you personally own and have verified on the Platform.
• Only submit content that genuinely meets the campaign's stated creative guidelines and requirements.
• Ensure all views, likes, and engagement on submitted content are fully organic. You must not take any action, directly or indirectly, to artificially inflate performance metrics.
• Not submit the same video to multiple campaigns or submit content on behalf of another person.
• Keep your connected social accounts public for as long as a submitted clip is active on the Platform.

5. Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination, and forfeiture of all pending and future earnings:

• Using bots, view-farming services, click farms, engagement pods, or any automated or coordinated means to inflate view counts, likes, comments, or any other engagement metric.
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, earn additional income, or evade a suspension or ban.
• Submitting videos posted on social accounts you do not own or that belong to another person.
• Circumventing, reverse engineering, or attempting to bypass the Platform's ownership verification system.
• Submitting fraudulent payout requests or providing false withdrawal information.
• Colluding with advertisers, other Clippers, or third parties to manipulate campaign performance data or misrepresent results.
• Engaging in any conduct that is unlawful, harassing, abusive, or harmful to other users or to the Platform.

This list is not exhaustive. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes prohibited conduct at our sole and absolute discretion.

6. Earnings and Payouts

Earnings are calculated on a CPM basis (per 1,000 verified views gained after your clip is approved), at the rate set by the campaign. Earnings are subject to a platform fee, which is displayed on the Platform and may change over time.

All submitted clips enter a review period before payouts are processed. We reserve the right to reject clips that do not meet campaign guidelines, contain prohibited content, or are otherwise ineligible.

We reserve the right to withhold, delay, reduce, or permanently forfeit earnings if we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, view manipulation, a violation of these Terms, or any other conduct harmful to the Platform or its advertisers. Withheld earnings do not accrue interest.

We further reserve the right to reverse, claw back, or offset any earnings already paid out if it is subsequently determined that those earnings were obtained through fraud, manipulation of performance metrics, a breach of these Terms, or an error in our systems. You agree to repay any such amounts upon demand. We may offset recovered amounts against future earnings or pending payouts before they are disbursed.

You are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies applicable to earnings received through the Platform in your jurisdiction. Veritads does not withhold tax on behalf of Clippers.

7. Our Rights

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to:

• Suspend or permanently terminate any account at any time, for any reason or no reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms.
• Withhold or permanently forfeit any pending earnings associated with a suspended or terminated account.
• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform, including campaign availability, payout methods, or platform fees, at any time.
• Update these Terms at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you create and post on social media platforms. By submitting content through the Platform, you grant Veritads a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to access, verify, reference, and display metadata about that content for the purposes of operating the Platform and reporting to advertisers.

Veritads, its name, logo, and all related brand assets are our intellectual property. You may not use them without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific earnings, or campaign availability at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Veritads shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform (including but not limited to loss of earnings or loss of data). Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total amount we have paid to you in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
